I love Ortona because they have such a wonderful staff that support the children and education. Also grandma Talley has a great program where you can go get anything you need for anyone in the family and during the holidays she helps all families in need with food and presents.
We are a small neighborhood school with 254 students. I know every one of them by name and also know most of the parents. We are a very close knit family. Something that's not common in Daytona Beach as it is made up of mostly transient and vacationing families.
I personally think Ortona is GREAT school.The teachers are GREAT.And the principal is the most involved principal I have ever met.My daughter's teachers are always there if I have a problem or concern....Just a great school...You would be lucky to have your children go here.
