This school is ok.. it could be better. The classes are long but it is a lot better than eight classes in one day. That will be too much homework
The teachers are wonderful, hard working and truly care. The administration is following through on new ideas to make MHS the best, likethe new school store. Parents are working with the school to make sure it is a safe environment. Overall it is a great educational opportunity.
The teachers at MHS care deeply about their students. We would like to spend more time on the subject area concepts, unfortunately many students just want to know what is on the test and the pressures of NCLB just reinforce this strategy.
I am dissappointed in the lack of effort and caring of the teachers at MHS. My experience over the past two years is that the teacher's are unwilling to go the extra mile to help students. I even had a teacher tell me that it wasn't her responsibility to come in early or stay late to help. Unfortunatly, I think this reflects the attitudes of most teachers at MHS. How dissappointing!
