There are some good teachers, as well as bad teachers at this school. The unfortunate side is that it is all revolves around community morale. There is lack of parental involvement until there is a problem. At that point it is sometimes, too late. Education is not valued by students and some just come to school to socialize. Life skills should be focused on as much as academics. There should be more programs to address the needs of the individual students. Counselors should be in place to counsel the students and not just focus on testing. The system at this school needs to be revamped soon because these same students will be a part of the community's workforce; where does that leave us?

Chester High has always been a nightmare for me as a parent. Alot of the teachers are not qualified to teach our children. Some are racist & they worry more about the paycheck then our children their safety & their education.

Chester High has been a very good school in the past. In the last few years, things have taken a downturn. However, a good education is there for those who want it. There are excellent teachers who always go the extra mile for any student. Chester High has many graduates any school would be proud to claim as their own. However, some changes need to be made - enforcement of discipline and the dress code top the list.

The teachers at this school have the best interest of the students in mind. The problem in this school is the students do not value education. It does not matter to the students if they fail - they do not want to be in school. Students bide their time until they become old enough to drop out and there is nothing the teachers or principals can do about it. The education is there - the students need to take advantage of it.
