Before my daughter came to Bonner she was enrolled at Hurst. Don't let those FCAT grades fool you. Hurst was an 'A' school and it is not half as good as Bonner. Parents place too much emphasis on FCAT grades and it is not a true representation of the quality of the school. My daughter has excelled tremendously since she started at Bonner. My daughter is in Kindergarten and she has been reading on a 1st grade level. Kudos to Mrs. Watson. I'm sad to say that Bonner may be closing this Summer, permanently. I'm considering private school.

At first, I thought that the school would be beneficial to the continuation of learning for my child, but seeing the FCAT score decline over the last 2 years have caused me to re-evaluate my position. The quality of work have declined and the positive intervention have diminished. So I cannot in good conscience rate this school as a high quality school for any child let alone my own.

My son didn't know how to talk at all when he started at bonner and he was 4 yrs old. I couldn't even get him potty trained cause he is autistic and I enrolled him in a special ESE program at bonner and within one week (5 days) he was potty trained and I can actually hold a conversation with my son. I am so happy. Bonner changed my whole life and I could never thank them enough!! Trust me I heard alot about school grades and everything but they are not counting Pre-K classes. I don't know about the rest but Pre-K is the best in all volusia county.
