My son attended school there for 2.5 yrs and it completely changed his behavior and grades for the worst. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There are a few good teachers that are determined but it is not the norm. I was able to transfer my Son to another school and he has improved so much in the past year. He actually looks forward to going to schoo again. It is astonishing how much that school affected him in such a negative way.

There is now a new principal with a new philosophy at the school. There have always been good elements at the school; my hope is that with new leadership, those elements will be tied together and augmented to make Palm Terrace an A school.

I feel the leadership qualities are lacking at Palm Terrrace Elemantary. My child has attended two years of schooling there, and his problems with fellow students, and lack of guidance has yet to be solved. After many conferences with his current teacher his attitude has not improved from the low that he feels while attending school. Im currently working on relocating my son to another school which can provide him with a better environment and opportunity to succeed.

Yes. I have to say that I was very dissatisfied with the overall experience here. I always had to hold for long periods on the phone, only to get hung up on and they were very rude on the telephone. Well besides that I tried to start my son on an IEP prog. because he has a.d.h.d and sruggles constantly and filled all paperwork out and had several meetings but nothing was started for him. They sure did contact me when he misbehaved though. Very dissapointed with this school. Sorry, but true. Please consider the students problems , don't treat all the same.
