Little Hands, Big Hearts Preschool is a nondenominational preschool established by the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, to provide a preschool experience for children 2.9 - 6 years of age. Our Christian based philosophy and curriculum is guided by an understanding of children's individual differences and developmental needs. Children are encouraged in small classes through art, music, science, language, social studies, and physical development to realize their creative and imaginative abilities. We encourage physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of their families. Our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing enviroment.

My son went two days a week, this year, at 3 years old. We could never, ever, ever, have dreamed of more loving, caring, patient, and committed teachers. Really. I couldn't say enough good things about them. The curriculum itself, for the school, could stand to be updated to include more 'special' programs: weekly special art, music, gym visitor/teachers. Also, the crafts were (while we enjoyed them thoroughly), far more simplistic (from a learning perspective) than what my friends' children were creating at 3 different schools. I'm NOT disappointed, though. They do a lot and learn a lot. I wanted a school where my son could play, socialize, be safe, have fun, and be loved. We got that and more!
This is a wonderful experience for children. They take great care in the development of the child's self esteem as well as teaching academics!I have had the privilege of having my own son in the program and also knowing many other children whom have attended this preschool. All of whom are doing great in the elementary level!

My son went to LHBH for preschool and Pre-K. I absolutely loved the school and so did he. The staff are warm and friendly people. They prepared my son well for kindergarten and he had fun doing it!!
