It is a cool school. There is a lot of teachers that are able to help you whenever you need help. Plus they have a homework hot line which is pretty cool. The Building of the school needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
My son went to Wagar school in grade 6, 2007-08 school year. He did not get the patience and help that he deserved to get. Instead, he was treated horribly by the staff. Now, he is in a smaller catholic setting. Whereas now doing wonderful. If your child struggles....Do not send them to Wagar.

I disagree. My son has been attending Wager since October, 2004 and with the help of the teachers, counselors and assistant Principal and myself, my son has improved tremendously. Leaving the Detroit Public School district was the best decision I've ever made.

I feel this school could use alot of help. They do not have their proirities straight. Although there are some good teachers most are unpatient and unwilling to work with students. I have an A, B student and she treated as though she is carrying straight E's. It makes a child not even want to try when no matter how good they do it still isn't enough.
