There is such a different feeling when you are in LPA. Whatever your level is everyone seems to excel in some way. When you go to LPA you know you are on the path for a successful future.
School is very driven , sometimes rude . School has no football team and spends most of its money on band . Needs more security and protected areas for parent pickups .
My youngest child will graduate from LPA next year. My older children were extremely well prepared for college as a result of the education they received at LPA. Almost all of the students that I know who transferred to another high school in the district were sorry that they did.
LPA is an excellent school for students interested in furthering their education. My daughter is an IB student graduating this year. The teachers encourage students to think for themselves and strive to be the best they can be. Yes, the school is strick. Learning to follow strick rules now helps in the real world of tough competition in the work force. LPA cares very much about academics.
