Gabrielino High School

Gabrielino High School is a two-time California Distinguished School and was ranked in the top 500 schools in US& World Report in 2009. The staff is highly motivated and hold high expectations for all students. The school offers programs for the advance student as well as the average and special needs student. The campus offers a diverse and safe environment. Students create a positive atmosphere through various ASB activities and class competitions. There are many parent groups that offer support to the many groups and programs on campus. Gabrielino is nationally recognized for their outstanding Speech Team and also have a State ranked Mock Trial Team. Gabrielino is one of the few high schools both private and public that supports a theatre and orchestra program along with band. The athletic department offers many team sports including championship volleyball and swim teams. Gabrielino is a great alternative to private schools!

This school does such a good job at making students a unique individual and not just another number. The teachers are great who teach with enthusiasam and not just because it's thier job. This school also has great school spirit.

You will give a 5 stars for Extracurricular Activities if your child/children participate in the Speech and Debate team. The Speech Team is the jewel of GHS.

This is a great school highly recommended, great staff especially mr. winter. best teacher around care alot about his students.
