What a poor school! The unionized teachers do not do much at all to educate the children. The children will not be competitive for entrance into better colleges. Plenty of fundraisers but they do not even have working pencil sharpeners and make parents get supplies even with overpriced school taxes. Save your money and move to a better school district.

Bentley is an extremely overrated as is this school district. Principal is a good writer of bulletins but that is not enough to make for a good school. Teachers communicate the absolute minimum to parents about their children, only at 1 conference per year and report cards. Teachers teach randomly without any deliberate method. Most importantly, this school has a history of not challenging its students. We thought we had made a good choice, we now seriously regret it.

We have a son diagnosed with ADHD. The resources available at Bentley have been nothing but outstanding. Principal Meier has been a great advocate for our son.

My daughter started at Bentley last year in Kindergarten and is now in first grade. We specifically moved to an area of Canton to attend Bentley. I have been extremely pleased with the school academics program, extra activities, teachers and administrators. I have found through many hours of volunteering that many parents fail to offer solutions to problems, and simply complain. I also have found that those quite often are the parents who do not step up to help throughout the year. Maybe if the parents were more involved they would see how hard everyone there works to advance our children and that with everyone helping a little- a lot can get done. Overall Bentley is a wonderful place of learning, respect, and fun. I am excited for my youngest daughter to start at Bentley in just a few short years. Go Bobcats!!
