This is a wonderful preschool and kindergarten. Both of my children have attended Grace and I couldn't be happier with the program. It is a perfect mix of academics and social play. The staff is spectacular and well-qualified. All grade levels are great and the kindergarten is a must-do. It is a half-day program with 10 or less children. The teacher works individually with your child everyday(unlike in the public school) with nearly all children reading and writing simple stories by the end of the year - yet the class is set up to where fun and working at their own pace is the culture. It is a great alternative to all-day kindergarten - they learn more, get more attention, and you still have time to spend with your child in the afternoon. Small school so call early for a spot! It's in historic Yorktown overlooking the York River. Beautiful!
