This school was a huge disappointment to our family. The class sizes are very large for a catholic and the teachers teach from books and use no creativity when teaching a lesson. Some of the teachers show the children very little respect and treat them badly. For the cost of tuition each child receives little to no individualized attention. In my opinion this school is not worth the cost of the tuition

I am a proud parent of St. Margaret School. I have 3 children who attend SMS, and they love to go to school each and every day. The teachers are loving and accepting of all of their students and their differences. Having 3 very different children I feel that each of their needs are met and each finds success. I will have 2 at the middle school this year have been pleased. I would never consider sending my children anywhere else.
The quality of the education my child receives st SM deteriorates as rapidly as the number of seats in his classroom increases. The administration worries more about filling the classrooms to capacity and less about providing a good education. It is very sad. This becomes more apparent every year and we are actively searching for anotehr middle school.
Teachers-Mostly dedicated, great teachers but with 30 (more in some classes) they can't give extra attention to kids who need it or challenge kids who are advanced. Extracurricular Activities-a few clubs and sports for older students. Parent involvement-A few active parents. Has decreased in recent years so the school has done away with some events and committees such as 'Rainbows' or 'Outreach'. Safety-The school is safe and parents are screened. Weekly Mass is held for the students and priests do a great job involving the students.
