My son was in the two's program at Brookdale; he absolutely loved his school, his friends and his teachers. Additionally he benefitted significantly from gaining independence in such a nurturing environment while interacting with his teachers and peers. He constantly talked about his friends from school and proudly showed off his artwork when we picked him up. I would definitely recommend Brookdale!
I can't believe some parents are leaving such bad reviews to this school. I absolutely love Brookdale and highly recommend it. My daughter went there last year in the 2's program and she is in the 3's now. The teachers are so sweet and so nurturing. Mrs. Cardilli, the owner and also the director is really good. She know all the kids very well and is hands on. It's amazing how much the kids respect her. The really do an outstanding job there.
When I first visited the school my gut reaction was that it is a dingy place in the basement not well lit and has too many kids with not a lot of space. Unfortunately I did not go with my gut reaction and was terribly dissapointed in the school. It is unsafe, unorganized and not a nurturing place at all. I would advise major due diligence by any parent before selecting this place.
Best school in the area. I find it hard to believe the negative reviews on this site. This school has been around for decades and has an excellent reputation.
