I've attended this school since my freshman year until graduation, and it's a wonderful school. I think the Teachers are the best part, but it would be great if the school had more money so they could provide more. They do need to update their math program as well, in fact everything could use an update, but that could be easily taken care of with some money. The teachers and students, and chapel services more than make up for any finanfical shortages ,though, and I would be glad to send my kids there when they are older.

All of my children have attended and still do attend GCCS. A nurturing, godly atmosphere. Very positive peer relationships in the high school. Open door policy with administration. Nice rural/suburban campus.

GCCS has a quality academic program, but lacks in establishing a true Christian family feel for all who attend. Parents are involved but tend to section off into groups and can be a bit chatty about others. Computer program isn't comparable to other programs like Washington Township public schools and they don't offer foreign language to lower grades. Curriculum could also be a little more well-rounded to include celebration of Black History Month and more teachings about African American contribution to American society! They are also out of touch with global technology and do not offer the children enough educational opportunities to learn about the global economy. Their music and arts prgm needs an overhaul as well.

Gloucester County Christian School follows the A Beka curriculum which leads in reading skills and math skills, especially in the lower grades (K-4). Aftercare and sports (Soccer, Basketball)are available. Devoted Christian teachers care about your child's heart, and their interactions with others. Graduating seniors go on to do well in college and careers.
