Fulton Science Academy

Fulton Science academy is one of the best middle schools out there. After graduating from there last year, I can't find a kid that I go to high school with that had a better middle school experience than I did. The teachers all want to help their kids succeed, and they are all friendly. This school gets a 5 out of 5 from me. -Bradley Thompson

I'm giving it 3 stars because the school is only great for students that are self-motivated with no learning disabilities. They do not cater to students w/ any ld so if you are considering this school because of smaller class size, etc., you better make sure you do your research. My son was there for 6th grade and hated it. In one class the teacher simply did not have time for him because most of her students were TAG (talented & gifted). He had to drop to next level. Also, the focus on id's and uniforms is a little too much with giving out citations, as per one student's comments. However, for the accademically inclined, this school is fine. Do not automatically rule out the schools in your own district--do your research! I wish I had.

If you don't like your home school this is an option but beware that it is no longer a small school. The advantages when my son went there of small classes and close environment are now gone. Teachers are either outstanding or awful. There isn't a middle ground. The after school clubs are great. Don't expect this school to live up to its previous billing.

My daughter has been in this school for past two years. The school has a great learning and disciplined environment. Teachers follow up on the assignments and also provide useful information to the parents for timely feedback and intervention if needed.
