It was far more interesting back on the old campus down from Sarasota High School. When I taught there, teachers were allowed to teach with their own creativity. For the past twenty years schools have been teaching out of a box.
My 2 children used to attend a private school. I was very please up to 3rd grade, however my son enountered some reading issues and they had nothing available to assist him. Sarasota Middle has done an outstanding job...he is a 2 time honor student and has self esteem because of their wonderful staff. They are organized, have a wonderful homework website and seem to motivate the children to succeed. It is a safe and clean environment also. They offer a multitude of before and after school activities and my son enjoys attending.
