I agree with the writer that this school is hit or miss. Some of the teachers are very skilled and attuned with the kids while others not so much. The classrooms have been consistently overcrowding year by year and this seems to be having an effect on the staff morale and general atmosphere.

I am very impressed with the faculty, and teachers at this school! I love this school, and I am so happy that my kids are able to attend such a wonderful well rounded school!

I have a 13 year old and a 9 year old that both went to AR... I cannot say enough about the caring teachers at the Ranch. My oldest son wen the entire time and never did I have a problem with one teacher or one incident. I have always been in close contact with all of the kids teacahers.... that is the key. I am all for being involved with the school, however; what is more important is that you are in closer contact with their individual teachers....Check snapgrades at least weekly and get on top of it immediately. Both of my boys strived in AR and my oldest son has done excellent in Desert Ridge JHS due to the path they placed him on in AR....

My opinion is for those people who are considering moving to this area. It isn't that the school or educators are of a lesser quality. If you have a choice or option as to what area to move to, and if the school is important to you, pick a different district that is less crowded. If I had properly done my research, I would have moved into the Kyrene School District.
