I did not want to send my kids to this school. I went under protest to the open house. When i met the students giving the tour i was so impressed by their demeanor, intelligence and behavior i admitted to my wife that my preconceptions were incorrect. That was 7 years ago and we now have all 3 kids attending and love the school the faculty and the program. It is not perfect but then again neither are my kids.( My wife is though.)

I went to this school and hated it. All the teacher are looking for are straight A,s they don not care about you. If i had to rate this school from a 1 to 100 give it a 0 go to wandell school district they are so nice to everyone and it is one of the best schools i love wandell
I must respond to this extremely unfair review of the program at Saddle River Day School. I have two children at SRDS (High School and Lower School) who have thrived, both academically and socially! My children look forward to school every day. The teachers are the most caring and involved faculty I could imagine who truly understand my children and go above and beyond every day to treat them with respect. In the 9-10 years we have been a part of SRDS, the School has dealt with any issue promptly and appropriately. I can assure you that any form of harrassment is absolutely NOT tolerated nor encouraged!!! The School teaches respect for peers across all divisions... and just for the record, my kids are the two most normal, well-rounded, confident kids you would ever meet in your life. This was clearly an isolated incident, if it even happened as relayed here.

Saddle River Day School has exceeded our expectations! The class sizes are small, so every student receives an individualized lesson plan. The faculty is incredible. You can tell they care about the kids, and love working at Saddle River Day School. Since the school is small, between 300-375 kids, there is a strong sense of community, which extends out to the parents. The common bond is that everyone values education, which is why they chose a selective school that values a challenging educational environment. We did a lot of research on the schools in the area, and we are 100% confident that it would be almost impossible for our son to have a better educational experience than the one he is getting at Saddle River Day School.
