I think the teachers need to have more accountability for all their absence. They miss way to much school.

For five years I tutored on this campus. The principal, Dr. Jean Maddox, has created a positive learning environment with little to no parental support. Her efforts have positively influenced all the students. She understands and imparts to her staff that caring and hard work produce outstanding results. She is a responsible leader who knows her job and exerts great energy to make certain students receive the best possible education.

I'm very pleased with the improvements that Foster Road obtained. I was very worry last year and I was really thinking about moving my child to another school. But the progress that it has made, it has impressed me. keep up the good work Dr. Maddex. The concerns that I know have is the amount of students each teacher has in the 4th and 5th grade in each classroom. Also, the amount of substitute teachers the school gets per year. Perhaps, the principal should stress abstences more often with her staff. I brougth this up because my child every so often when I asked, 'how was school today' the respond is, we had a sub. today. I also have noticed that the school is going through major construction work and the school is doing a good job, in keeping the safety of the students and adults.
