I have a son that attend military magnet academy and he is a good young man and grateful to be there.
Military Magnet is not a bad school! Its the people that makes the school look bad! But I look forward of seeing more fantastic things and a change!

I have attended the school from the 6th to the 9th grade. While I was there, there wasn't much to offer, but that has changed. They still may not have alot, but just give them some time. This school is not for children who need to be disciplined, but rather children who are disiplined. I just feel that this school works better who those interested in entering the Armed Forces, rather than college. The college will fell a big difference when they go off to college. I transfered to a school that I think would benefit me in my future, rather than just focusing on the services, cuz the doctor i wanna be works with children and early adults.

I disagree with the last comment. My daughter has attended Military Magnet Academy since the 6th grade. She is now a Junior there at this school. The purpose of the school is to prepare your child to be well disciplined as in any other school. The children have visited the Citadel as well as other military schools and activities. They provide the same educational background to the students as if they were in any other school. My daughter has been on the Honor Roll since attending the school and is also in the band and other sport activities. It would be best if you would get more involved in your child school and maybe you will see that this school has a lot to offer your child that you never knew existed.
