Middlesex Elementary School

My daughter just completed her kindergarten year at Middlesex Elementary. She has learned a tremendous amount of foundational information this past year for future classes in prealgebra, geometry, U.S. history and English. She passed her Virginia State PAL with a 101 out of a possible 102. She loves math, is very curious about everything around her, writes complete thoughts into perfectly formed sentences, and is confident enough to read aloud in front of an entire church audience. I look forward to her being placed in a stimulating and engaging 1st grade class next year!

Let me just say that my experience with Middlesex Elementary has been nothing but positive!!! Having one child that is reading above his grade level and another child that is having some difficulty is certain areas, the school has worked to meet both of their needs. The ladies in the office know just about every parent by name and make it a point to learn who each child belongs to. Not only is Mrs. Banks, the principal, doing an amazing job making sure that the students are being taught, she also takes time with parents and provides a safe and loving environment for the students to learn. The teachers are nothing short of amazing!! The best decision I ever made for my children was to have them in the Middlesex School system!!
