Webster is making great progress. They now have a new young principal who has a vision for student success. She was been able to connect with local businesses and community organizations to increase the effectiveness of the school. The overall climate has improved and the focus can now be placed on academic improvement.
Webster is rely interested in the success of the children thta attend. Thier moto is 'success is our goal'. The facilitires are the cleanest in Oakland Unified, and the staff really takes time to know each student personnaly. They are currently a program improvement school. During the o8-09 school year they will be opening as a new small school. The new pricipal is young and full of new ideas regarding the schools growth. She has connected with the community and various support organizations to provide programs that will increase the level of student performance.
