Siloah Lutheran is a 90% Choice enrolled school. If you are unfamiliar with the Milwaukee Choice program, please check it out. This program allows a very diverse group of students to attend non-public schools for free. While this is a church-school, the majority of the students and some of the teachers are not members of Siloah Lutheran Church. The goal of this school is to outreach to unchurched or underchurched students and their families. Siloah is accredited at the highest level by WRISA and WELSA. These accredidation groups represent the largest non-public school systems in the Wisconsin and the Nation. Check the accredidation groups out for more information. This school represents a viable alternative to MPS schools in the area. My son has attended Siloah for the last 3 years, and his teachers have been available 24-7 to help him with homework. They even give out their home phone numbers!

The school and the staff are just awesome! I have been involved with Siloah for the last 6 years and they just get better with time.
The school has a very high turn over rate of teachers and administration. That creates insability for the students who attend the school. Every year, the majority of the teachers are new and unfamiliar with working with students that are from diverse cultural backgrounds. Additionally, the teachers are not as concerned with the academic progress of students as they are the children being little conformist. Their discipline policies are harsh and punitive and are not grounded in the teachings of Christ.
Excellent school. Very focused in academics - have made many positive changes to curriculum, school procedures, environment, and student assessment.
