My children graduated from this school system. Both of my children have gone on to college. My daughter thought the students at her private college that came from private or parochial schools were better prepared for college than she was. She only missed the Dean's list in her first semester. She then went on to graduate with honors. My son is in his 3rd year at college and he is doing well. Could the school system be better? Show me anything in this world that couldn't be better. There are plenty of extra-curricular activities (athletic and scholastic) for every student. There are also plenty of after school jobs for those that want to work. Overall I am satisfied with the education my children received in this system. I must add that my wife and I did monitor their progress through the years.
This is not a bad school but living in Fort Wayne like I did, I think these kids could use some diversity. They will not always be around people of the same skin tone and without ever experancing it, how can we expect them to grow, not only as a school but as young adults.
