I just graduated from Deep Run and I will say that it is an amazing experience. The faculty and staff are exceptional; I couldnt have asked for a better group of people to prepare me for college. Although the school is very competitive, for a public school, it keeps everyone on their toes and interested in learning. The sporting events are a blast and sharing it with such a spirited class (2009!!) made my high school experience unforgettable. To anyone who is debating on sending their child here I highly encourage it. You cant go wrong with a school that gets their students ready for college and that always has a warming social environment. I will always be proud to say that I was a WILDCAT!!
I just graduated from Deep Run class of '09. The school is great, the teachers really care about the kids, but there are some teachers who have favorites and show it. The sports teams are some of the best in the state and there are plenty of clubs to join. To the comment below me, whoever you are I want to know how the class of '09 brought the school down when we were the most spirited, and had plenty of great contributions to add to the school. Your just mad because when yall were seniors we had the most attention. so grow up, and deep run was a great school.
I graduated class of '08 and currently attend Virginia Tech. Deep Run was an awesome experience. The only thing that brought it down was the '09 class, if it weren't for them I would love this school. All I can say is deep run was a great school in the past. Great prep for college except for the social cliques.
I graduated from Deep Run last year, and it was the best High School, and most beautiful one at that. The teachers are amazing, except for a select few, and the sports teams are amazing!
