Licking Heights High School

My children currently attend Licking Heights and I think it is a great school because it is very diverse and forward thinking. And it happens to be my alma mater!

Overall Licking Heights has been a horrible school, personally I felt majority of the teachers did not care whatsoever of the needs of the pupils. My child transferred from another school district to Licking Heights and knew nothing about the school, I hadn't even known when she was expected to start.The students there seemed rude and acted as if they had no class to attend. My child did not even receive her OAT testing results she currently attends the high school and I am attempting to mover her from there.

I have been attending Licking Heights since the 4th grade, & i'm now a junior. I can honestly say that I've learned more here than any other school iv'e ever attended. This year I passed all my OGT's above proficient & that was with the help of all my wonderful teachers. Just like anything it has it down sides, but no school is perfect. The teachers & staff are very helpful, and you can come to them with any problem you may have. Most of the parents are very involved in the district. So to all the parents complaining, why don't you take a stand in your community to help, & vote yes on the levies so that we can have all of the amenities & electives that we need to have wonderful schools. Hopefully this changed your feelings on what kind of a school Licking Heights is.

A very nice school teachers are freindly ive grown up here and the teaching sestem could be a little bit better and the leader ship is a little weak but its a good school over all
