Absolutely great school. Academics at Calvin are unbelievable compared to Edina Public Schools (which are some of the best in the state). Also, the teachers are very caring and involved with the kids. They have structured programs for kids who are ahead of the curve or are a little bit behind so that all kids are getting the instruction they need. This is definitely not one-size-fits all. The end result is that they kids learn well and can perform well on standardized tests.

Very high test scores and very good quality academic programs including summer school camps. All children take Art, computer, PhysEd, and music. Older grades also do band and foreign language. Parent involvement is close to 100% and many faculty members are current parents or former parents. There are many different opportunities for parents to get involved including working parents too. We have been very happy with our child's education there so far. Not the best school for special education children but, they do have some services and you can use the services through Edina Public Schools. I would not recommend the school for ESL students.
