Benton elementary was rated number one in NOrthern indiana for math and language in the istep the sixth grade class was the number one class in Northern Indiana (2005-2006 school year)
Lot's of great Parental involvement, and the parents involvement is what helps this school get good scores on standardized tests. For gifted students, this is not a good place for your children to be. This school seems to place more emphasis on being on time than on academics. It is easier for children to be involved in extracurricular activites in this district. EC activities are limited however.
I went to benton two years ago it is a great school it just got built in 1999. the staff is so nice and the teachers are great. our music programs are greart two. I think buliding benton was a great idea. and fairfield isn't a bad school sysem for kids to go to. I love benton and fairfeild they are great.
