To the last parent (or school employee) that posted the remark 'many challenges for children that are ready for higher levels of learning' - that's absolute hogwash - there are quite literally no challenges for gifted children, very little to no differentiation in the early grades, and overall very little attention paid to the students vs. routine discpline and 'busywork'

I am very impressed with LRES. The teachers are great and very responsive. Everyone is excited about learning and teaching. My son attends kindergarten at LRES and he is excited to go to school everyday. They offer a variety of opportunities to challenge children that are ready for higher levels of learning. The staff has been very responsive to my concerns. I am so happy we found LRES.

There is no set manner of discipline at this school. For instance if one kid requires discipline she/he can have it one way than another who does the same rule breaking error. This leads to unequality with students and possibly bullying. The person in charge of discipline should definitely write a general outline of disciplinary action for all kids.

I don't know the history as I have only been here a few months last academic year and since September this year. So far, I am very impressed by the teachers and the level of parent involvement in extra-curricular activities. My impression of last academic year and this one is - Last year, it seemed a little unweildy as there were too many students. Now, with rezoning to a nearby new Elementary school, I think the quality at Little River has improved.
