Father of four: The leadership and teaching methodology at Caldwell is excellent, focused on developing personal character and excellence in eduction as building blocks for our kids future. Opportunities in the arts and sports grow each year. Caldwell is a Christian school, but not religious. If you ever wanted a school who supports your moral worldview and educational desires for your children, this is the place.

As new parents we have found Caldwell to be an exceptionally welcoming environment, at all levels. From the welcoming, polite students we met when we toured, to the caring staff who all remembered our names and our children from our first tour. The head of School, Mr. Mark Guthrie, is literally out in the street waving at parents and smiling as they bring their kids in each day. I see other reviews here suggesting that children cannot express themselves as individuals. The entire curriculum of the middle and upper schools is built around analysis, debate, rhetoric, and expression and communication. It is a gross distortion to say that a rigorous curriculum that actually challenges children to reach their full potential rather than wallow in feel-good, flavor-of-the-month social education prevents individual self-expression. Uniforms force students to express themselves based on their own ideas rather than daddy's bank account/clothes allowance.
