I believe Sacred Heart is over-priced for what they actually deliver. My daughter graduated in 2005. She was a special need child who instead of getting the help she needed was forced to sit in a class of 40+ students and not getting any assistance. The principal there is strict and does keep a good structure for the school PHYSICALLY. However, the quality of education there is TERRIBLE. I wouldn't completely blame it on the teachers, it seems the principle is more concerned as to how he will pay his next bill or how 'good' the concerts will be.

The quality of academic program is ok there is no availablity in musinc art etc. and no level of parent involvement because there is no PTA

I have one daughter who graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1995. She went on to achieve a full academic scholarship to NJIT in Newark, NJ to major in Computer Engineer. My second child who has been in Sacred Heart since kindergarten, and is due to graduate in 2005 is on the Track Team at Sacred Heart school, and she also attends after-school activities. She is always academically challenged by the curriculum that Sacred Heart has to offer. Sacred Heart is well respected and very disciplined. The teachers get involved with every child, and notify parents on any problems that they may have with a child, so that it may be corrected right away. They offer after-care and a wide range of after-school activities. I highly recommend this private school to parents looking for a good education for their children.

I think that sacre heart is a good school. I love the school it has many extracurricular activities. Many things that will allow you to get a better start on the new things for high school. I thought that i couldn't go on in sixth grade because i was new and they helped me to survive.
