Calumet Schools are great in general but the Middle School is terrific. I've had four grandchildren ikn the school systems care at one time and three of them have passed through the halls and classrooms of the middle school
my ratings are based on a child that is ADHD, not the 'perfect' child. The teachers here seem to like you if you cause no ripples. I have three children in this school system and two are treated fine my AHDH child has not had the same luck. Not all teachers react this way just most of them. This will also include the staff. 1/2 and 1/2 on the way he is treated. IEP's come prepared and not alone, bring someone to support you and know your rights. If you are a parent that is 100 % for your child expect to be treated as an enemy.
