My child has been enrolled in the middle school and we are disappointed in the quality of education there, especially since we are paying tuition. Science is very poor and the administration of the middle school doesn't enforce teaching quality. I don't see any effort at all being made in effective coordination of the MS. I don't see what the fuss is about the dress code because its not really enforced. I have heard though that the high school is much better.
My child attended this school for 3 years and I am unimpressed by everything. If your child falls behind they will not help them, instead they want you to have them tested by a panel of their choice to have them labeled. Now if your kids gets it the first time and has no issues they will probably do good. My child needed some extra help and though it was promised, they never delivered. Save your money and go to public school because they will get help in public where they will not get it here at DBCS. I find most of the parents as well are just happy to gossip and let the injustice continue.

I attended from 8th-12th grade and received a 3.857 GPA. I finished college at a strong school with a 3.6 GPA and now have a 3.25 GPA in graduate school. I highly recommend DBCS in academics and athletics as I played three sports for a total of six years. Based on my experience (graduated in 2003), I would highly recommend DBCS if you can afford it. I would suggest parents or pastors teach children to have their own beliefs before attending, since Baptist doctrine is taught heavily, but others were not belittled or discriminated against. The dress code is not a big deal, especially since I believe it limits unnecessary problems (both violent and non-violent) between the sexes. Compares favorably academically with HRA and local public schools based on grades released to the Daily Press, SAT scores, athletics, discipline problems, etc.

I attended Denbigh Baptist from K-5 through 12th grade. I greatly appreciate the school, and the opportunities I received while attending Denbigh. If your child has a heart to learn and is legitimately trying to succeed then Denbigh is a place that will help mold them. They do focus a lot on the dress code however it's not the dress code that is the issue, it's the heart of the student. By ignoring the dress code time after time it shows the student doesn't care for the agreement that he/she made. I recommend Denbigh Baptist, go with an open mind and heart and you will not be let down.
