Denham Oaks Elementary School

My children both go to this school and i love it. I talk to lots of parents about how wonderful denham oaks is. My daughter is in her last year and is scared to leave, she has been so loved and well taken care of. The staff is warm, loving, caring, professional and excellent. Pta is wonderful in organizing events. I give 5 stars.

My son just started this year as a Kindergartener and I must say I am very impressed with the school and his teacher. He loves everything about going to school and looks forward to it everyday. I also love that there is not an overwhelming amount of homework and yet my son can read at a 1st grade level and loves to write. I just can't say enough good things about this school.

This is the best school every. My children both love the teachers and staff. My only concern was that there was only one male teacher until this year. Now they have added a wonderful new P.E. instructor who has really brightened the campus. My daughters loved the Disco unit he did a few months ago. Before your critize DOE. I encourage you to stop by and visit the teachers and staff.

My experience with my six year old was horrible. Her teacher had no experience teaching kids in her age group. There were more activities for the parents than the kids and teachers come across as unprofessional and unorganized. Computers were introduced to my child in the second half of the school year. I did not like this school in the least.
