I was totally shocked to see this school was only given a 5 out of 10. All 3 of our children have attended this school. We still have 2 there. The test scores this site shows goes totally against other reports, so I'm a little cautious about that. This has been an excellant school that has won many awards. Students with good parents have performed very well at this school, but so have students with little help at home. They just won an award last year for achieving high results with underprivileged students. This was 1 of 5 schools in the nation to receive this award. The Principal has always been excellant, however he was moved to one of the high schools. One of the VP's became the 1st female Athletic Coordinator at one of the high schools. The whole staff is always very friendly and helpful. We love it!
This is an amazing school. I have never seen a school full of teachers who care as much about the students as I have seen at Mill Creek. They create an atmosphere that gets the students excited about learning. The school is very clean and technology is abundant.
Great hard working teachers who are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. My children had a wonderful experience at the school.
School has a very poor principal! He shows poor organization and has now limited the hours per week that parents may volunteer at the school. How many schools kick the parents out? Such a decline in AR since Cheryl Jones left. Shame on everyone in the BOE for letting such a poor leader slowly destroy a wonderful school!
