Coder has the best team working in administration that I have ever seen. Once Mr. Beaty was brought on as principal the school just got better. He seems to really reach out to the students and I have personally seen him take time out of his own schedule to work with difficult students. He is always quick to respond to parental needs and I would say the same about Mrs. Choate, the vice principal. All five of the teachers we have experienced in the last few years truely care about their students and show it by their effort in and out of class. Some are a little tough but believe they are thinking in the best interrest of the children and their futures. I look forward to all three of my children prospering under this amazing staff next year.
Both of my kids have attended Coder. I just can't say enough how much I appreciate all the teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff at Coder for their hard work and wonderful ways with my kids. My son is in the Special Needs Program, attended Coder for almost 3 years. They have been my rock and have become good friends to our family as well. My daughter Taylor attended Coder for 2 years and her teachers made it easy for me to let go and let her blossom as an outgoing, curious and thoughtful young person. I recommend Coder Elemenatary and Aledo ISD to any parent who's ideals and goals for their children are set high. You won't be disappointed.

My son is in the first grade at Coder. We moved to Aledo expressely for the school district and have not been disappointed. This ISD is amazing and focus on both academics and athletics and manage to make both a priority. I am extremely pleased with his education (and his teacher is amazing!) and look forward to settling into life in Aledo!

It is a wonderful school district. We moved to Aledo to improve schools. We are disappointed in the district for jumping on the No Child Left Time act. Children are now assigned reports and other homework to be done over Christmas Holidays, Spring Break and the summer. It is a very academically competitive district and there are now no academically free holidays for students. It is as close to year round school as they can get without having to give parents a voice in the matter.
