I have three children at this school. We were previously a private school family, but the curriculum and standards at this school are higher than what we found in the private schools my kids attended. The Principal and assistant principal are both beyond wonderful and we have not yet had a bad teacher. If this is my option to paying tuition, I would rather support the teachers with my volunteer time, and financial support than pay tuition. Love Cypress Elementary and my kids are very happy and doing well. A+ school.
This is our second time with Cypress, our children attended 15 years ago, and now my granchildren. The school is one of the best elementary schools in pasco county. The leadership of Mrs. Love and Mr. Papa is exceptional. the teachers and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel like part of a big family. If you want to know how your children are progressing, the school is very easy to communicate with.
We Love this school. I have my second child in this school and as the 1st time around, it nothing short of exceptional. The teachers are great, the principles are very involved.....they remembered me from the last time around 2 years ago. They seem to know all the students and parents. They are very involved. The whole staff and school deserve the 'A' rating they received
We have been a part of the Cypress family for 6+ years. Cypress is a wonderful school. There were times when I thought differently but after moving my son to Longleaf Elementary for 5th grade I realized what a wonderful school Cypress is. It is just like family. The principals know every student and every parent it seems. The front office staff is very attentive and eager to help. The teachers truly care about their students. I am sorry to hear some other feel they had a 'not so nice' experience at Cypress but I can say from experience...the grass is not always greener...!
