I give this school five stars,i as a mother of three and a grandmother of one. All of my children had gone to quail hollow elem. And now my grandaughter is also going there. We love this school and our community.

Being new to the pod system in Pasco County, at first I was a little suspect. After 2 years of my daughters attending Quail Hollow Elementary, my initial questions or concerns have vanished. The system allows for the children to learn at their own pace while also broadening their interactivity with older and younger peers. My experience with the faculty and support staff has been fantastic. I have to give a great deal of credit for my positive feelings about Quail Hollow to the principle, Peggy Lewis. Having watched her interact with the students, faculty, and parents during school activities, I hold her in the highest regard.

Open 'pod' concept not very conducive to learning. Classrooms are noisy, cluttered, crowded and distracting. Some teachers are very helpful, some are quite aloof. Multiple fundraising activities borderline annoying. Music, PE and art programs are very good. Parent involvement is minimal due to inflexible scheduling of activities.

It is my view that my daughter is receiving a well rounded education. The teachers not only work with the class but fit in the time to worke on an individual basis with the children in their classrooms. The teachers have also kept me well informed on what is happeing in the classroom and if a poblem ever occurs that are quick to contact me.
