I was a student here and I loved this school. I was challenged in all of my classes. I took the Calculus BC test my Junior year and got a 5. If the parent who gave Indian Springs 2 stars students aren't challenged my guess is that they don't want to be and aren't taking all opportunities they should. Also, as to the books being old... well, not that much has changed in the world of math and science in the past 30 years that effects high school level math. If that is how someone judges a school they are sorely mistaken.

I feel that school would rate an overall thumbs down. Sure for a small school in the US it may have less violence but they don't challenge the kids. My son was in a charter school testing 1 to 2 grade levels advanced so I knew he would be bored but this is silly. They advanced him from 7th to 8th on the day of entry and advanced his classes he is still sitting around. Now our two gifted children have enformed us that they will be taking a break this years school and enjoying the lack of schoolwork? The text books are so old and out dated. The teachers are of course some good some bad, however they don't seem to want to challenge the kids? This seems to me like babysitting with some structure. The office staff is A+ and a few teachers A+ too. *Rated C-
