My children attended AYA and are now very productive students seniors at Lovett. I am glad that they received the love and attention they needed while attending this school. As a parent I was very involved with the school and my children's education. My children are now on their way to college with full scholarships! I still have relatives at the school and I encourage anyone I know with children to send their children to Atlanta Youth Academy. The teachers are great and willing to help and the administrative staff is awesome! What my children and I got there is invaluable. Visit, and you will see.

My children attend AYA. I am currently searching for a new school. Teachers in the upper grades do not seem to be well equipped. Lower grades seem ok but, I've noticed that there seem to be parents substituting a lot. Leadership is definitely the problem. Extracurricular activities are nonexistent. The plan for the school was a good idea, but the execution needs work. Tuition is based on your income.

My children have been attending this school for two years. My daughter is a 4th grader and she is really advancing. My son is a 7th grader his knowledge about the bible is out standing. You really feel the love from the staff. AYA is a school where the children come first. Each child is encouraged to do their personal best without being labeled as the smart or dumb kids. The teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child. The principal is kind and knows each child by name. He is a great example of a leader. Thank you AYA for bringing out the best in my children and giving them the encouragement and confidence they need to go out into the world! '

This is a small school. One class per grade, with 12/1 ratio.I like the school because the kids learn the bible and have chapel.Everyone knows eachother. And the tuition is based on your income, and they have sponser/partners that help pay the difference. They have some pretty good teachers as far as the Pre- K, kindergarten and a couple of other grades. As far as the upper grades, I feel like they may not have the best qualified teachers, in the subjects they teach. (ex: major in PE, but you teach math, or English with major in Music, And you teach 3rd grade). I feel a teacher should have a degree in education, or in the area they teach(since the students are pressured to pass, teachers should be up to par too ). And they should rotate upper grade classes to qualified teacher in subject. The principle needs replacing. But anyway.A Parent.
