I can not imagine anyone saying anything negative about Calvary, the director, secretary, teachers or classroom helpers. Our family has been there three years now and absolutely love it. Considering some of the negative comments it makes you wonder if those individuals would be happy anywhere. And why would they stay if they were that unhappy, as the old saying goes you can never please everyone. Our family loves everything about Calvary and all of our neighborhood friends feel the same way.

Not pleased with this school. After an entire year there, the director still did not know me or my son, despite volunteering over 10 times. Teacher to student ratio is too large in the 3's program. My child spent the majority of his morning there in unstructured and unsupervised play, while the teachers were either cleaning up the room, talking/arguing with each other or working one-on-one with other children. Many days, my child did not want to go to school. The curriculum is good, but the expectations of performance and behavior are very high. If your child is not a 'cookie cutter/typical' kid the teachers have difficulty working with them. I would not recommend this program.

the worst school - director is completly fake and makes the parents feel heard and welcome as long as there are furture siblings that may attend in the future- pushes the kids way too hard- the teachers are the bottom of the barrel- listen to them in the halls after parents have left- they are mean to the kids- the kids are pushed to impress parents- to the point of stress and lack of fun. Always pushing for money-fundraisers cannot understand why any loving parent would like this school my daughter cried everyday in her 4 year old class and the teachers had no sympathy or love. So many better preschools in frederick

My son was in the 3 and 4 year program at Calvary. He loved the school so much that he even begged us to take him to school on weekends! He loved his teachers, his friends and activities there. The teachers are very loving and caring. We had a WONDERFUL expereince. As a mom, I also liked their huge classrooms, well equipped supplies, books and toys. The discovery center (changes every month) was also my son's favorite. I couldn't send my daughter here only because of afterschool care needs (due to my new full time job). We love Calvary!!!
