My son attends Kindergarten in O.V...he really likes the schools and the teacher (Mr. Young). The teacher works real hard with students. The attention that the teacher gives for each student is amazing. The aftercare staff member are real nice.
My son is entering kindergarten and while he really enjoys his teacher, the aftercare he's really struggling adapting to. They do not seem to know what age-appropriate homework to give him when his teacher does not assign any. He cries every day and begs not to go. ***They also do not have recess which I do not agree with and will be writing to the principal about.
I had 2 children attend O.V. They loved the school and I loved the teachers. The teachers work real hard with the students. Some of the kids they have to work with need extra help (either with English learning or with homework). My older excelled in testing, but I felt my younger one was left behind. The after-school care was excellent and they loved all the care givers. They need more extracurricular activities but I would say to anyone that your child will get a good education there if they work with them at this school. They are caring and hard working teachers.
