NBS makes my sons very happy. They grow and learn each day, without ever feeling pressured or stressed. Teachers love what they do, and they communicate the joy of learning, reading, writing, and thinking to their students. This is a special place. If more schools were like it, we'd see far fewer headlines about the crisis in education.
Both of my boys attend North Branch, and it is an ideal place. It is small, but not too small, and the teachers work together to ensure that each student has a great experience. The school is set in the woods, which provides opportunities for nature walks, science experiements and things like fort-building during recess. It feels like a family, and they are both receiving really high-quality academic instruction.
My son goes to this school, he has been given more one on one help here than he could have recieved in the public school system. We feel that for some children this school is ideal! Small classes and very skilled teachers, an 'at home' environment. We have enjoyed our experience.
