Glendening is the same school I went to as a child and they love their students, although the district is falling on hard times and can't provide as much as they used to. I think this school could truly use a good computer lab, new excercise equipment, or something of that nature and I know they would put this money to good use. My daughter currently attends and she loves the school as well.

My child attended this school through grade 4. Because she was bright, she spent 2-4 hours PER DAY reading while the other students were being taught. We decided on private school; no more complaints about being bored etc. Groveport schools continue to rank near the bottom of all of the school districts in Franklin County. If moving to this area (which is a great community) look to charter/private schools for education.

my son could not read. i moved him from teays valley.he was there from k-2.now my son can read at a 3rd grade level and i thank all that helped him

My two oldest children attend this school and I have found it so much better than the other elementaries in the district. They attended Groveport Elementary for Kindergarten and I absolutely hated it. My son has special needs including a reading disablility, ADHD, and learning disability. The kindergarten teacher gave me no help and singled him out every chance she got. We went to Glendening for first grade per recommendation of the Director of Special Ed and I have never regretted it! He is starting to catch up and gets more individual attention than at Groveport Elementary. His sister is reading two grades above her level! I am very excited for them andcan't wait to see them excel in the Groveport Schools!
