La lumiere is a good school, if you want to buckle down and learn it helps. Although the campus is insipring and beautiful the people inside aren't as they may seem.

I am a freshman at La Lumiere, and I am in the class of 2012. The best part of the school is the people that go here. They are all intelligent, fun people. The faculty is very friendly and helping, and the athletics are really awesome. The school is a private boarding/day school with students from everywhere. The curriculum is good, it requires at least 20 credits for graduation. E mathematics require 4 years each, and science/foreign language requires 3 years. The student life is very demanding, and prepares you rigorously for college. We write papers almost constantly and have an intense English program. The school has a uniform, which for me is dress pants, a dress shirt, a tie, belt, a blazer, dress socks, and dress shoes. The school has required physical activities for everyone, whether they be a sport or not. I really recommend this

We are new to this school this year and it has not met our expectations. Some teachers are great, others are just like public schools. Not worth the money.

I am not a teacher, but I am a student that currently attends LaLumiere school. I love boarding here and being with my friends all the time. The academics are wonderful and the teachers are all so nice and helpful, plus the greatest thing is the small classes. This way we get more one on one time with the teacher. I love it here and highly recommend it.
