We thank God every day for Christian Assembly Academy! (It has changed its name and now is called Summit Christian Academy). It is truly an answer to many prayers. Our son is bright but really needs a small class size and individual help. All the teachers have been wonderful! They are well-qualified and really do care about the kids. Their classrooms have structure and order, but the teachers are flexible when needs arise. When we moved here, we were homeschooling our son, but praying about putting him in school. We thought private schools were out of the question financially. When we learned about Summit, we wondered why the tuition was lower than other schools. Turns out it's because it is a ministry of a local church, which has supported it for 20 years. The achievement test scores are VERY high. We think Summit Christian Academy is the best-kept secret in northern Virginia!

This school is now being called Summit Christian Academy. They have small classes and the teachers are very helpful to teach my child with his learning style. The students have consistently scored high on standardized test. There is an excellant language arts program for all ages. Next year they will have all day K, 5 days a week, before and after care. We are centrally located near the Washington DC beltway. There is a strong emphasis on the Biblical worldview.

This school is very parent friendly with a high level of parent involvement. Our family has been a part of the school community for over 20 years. The teachers are loving but firm. The academic program is rigorous, but flexible to meet the needs of most learners. All subjects are presented from a Biblical world view. The music and art programs are outstanding. The school offers introductory Spanish to grades 6-8. Students participate in ACSI competitions every year. We have a diverse populaton and families come from many churches in the area. Graduates have been accepted at various private and public high schools in the area and have been admitted to honors courses in their freshman year. We have a low teacher-pupil ratio. We also offer an afternoon Kindergarten Enrichment Program.
