As a former student of Brantley County Middle School, I believe it is THE best school I've been to. All of the teachers were involved and caring (even when the work was hard, they would help us) and everyone seemed to be happy every day. I have no complaints at all about the school. All compliments!
This school is a good school if your child is athletic because that is clearly where all the money goes. They do not encourage self expression. The other day a child was told that she was sending off the wrong message by the make-up she was wearing. One thing that I do like are the teachers while others may be less patient than others they are good teachers. I have found from first hand experience the school will only call unless they need money or they have a discipline problem. If your child is failing do not expect them to call. The parent involvment is very good too. They have the basic,extracurricular activities as far as sports go. They have artistic extracurricular as well. The only thing that bothers me is the harassment of children. They do not do anything realy about the verbal abuse , but once the children fight they get the message. I am very concerned about this.
