Brand new physical plant and excellent teaching staff make Darien high School top-notch. In addition to standardized test scores that far exceed national and state averages, DHS offers about 60 AP courses, and the passage rate for those courses is an astonishing 96%. This is an excellent academic institution.
even though not many of us have spirit for our school, i defiantly know that this school is better than most public schools out there. we always have someone watching over us, and there is always someone to help us when we need it. not only that but the teachers are great and extremely helpful! if you are thinking of moving to darien i defiantly recommend it rather than any other school close by. not many of our sport teams our great either but we sure have a great education and the teachers know what there doing!
