From someone who has experienced a really top-notch public school for the last few years, I can tell you that Pinecrest Academy excels academically, ethically and spiritually. Elementary students are exposed to a wider and deeper vocabulary, science, history and even World Language(s) education that a public school education could not provide. After all, where is the time in a public school setting when from January to April, students are drilled on what to expect on CRCT's and EOCT's. Pinecrest provides an Excellent Classical Education that is infused well with social and ethical teachings through rich faith based formation programs at all levels. Classes are small and the atmosphere joyful! Everyone knows everyone and genuinely cares. Compare the tuition cost to what you save in clothes, school events and your child's future college tuition! AP and SAT scores speak for themselves! The campus is a pearl in this growing urban area.
I taught at the school for years and have watched students graduate and go into the world not only prepared academically, but with the intregrity and enthusiasm of living what is right because they know what IS right.

I am an alumni from Pinecrest Academy and if there is one thing that I can say about this school, it would be about how great it is and how tough it was to leave there. I made friends there that I will never forget and always have. I currently attend a Univeristy out of state with two of my best friends from Pinecrest, I even room with one of them. And if you are worried about the gender seperation then you shouldnt be. Statistics don't lie and I can tell you that it will not do anything but help your child both socially and academically. One of my best friends that I go to school with now is a girl from my high school. I went to school there from 2nd grade till graduation and I would say that I am more than prepared for college and love that school.

I have had at least one child at Pinecrest since 1999. It has been a wonderful experiance for me and my children. The one problem I have encountered is the weak math instruction in High School. Having said that the teachers and administration are great. They are not just concerened about test scores, the first concern is about the child. The role of the formation team is very important to the childrens overall development and these men and woman are a fabulous resource for my children. My children feel safe and loved by everyone at the school. The school has high standards inside and outside the classroom.
