Our school is a wonderful, spiritually inspiring environment with a fantastic, giving staff and lovely, caring children. I feel blessed on a regular basis to be the principal of this special learning community where we all work on 'scattering joy' each and every day. Our curriculum is provided by the Diocese of Tucson and is both well-rounded and rigorous. Our standards are high so that our children are not only academically challenged on a consistent basis, but also spiritually challenged to serve the Lord by serving others.
This school is great. The children learn much more than academics such as giving/helping others in need, relationships, importance of a positive outlook on the world and life and much more. We are THRILLED with this school and the teachings the staff and volunteers bring the students.
My Kindergartnerer was singing a special song they had been taught to help them with phonics while waiting for me in the front office. The song is a bit tricky and includes many hand gestures, so you can imagine my surprise when the principal bent down to her level and did it with her! This tells me as a parent she knows quite a bit about what is going on in the classrooms! Hooray!
